Set up instructions

Set up video

• Make sure the corner of your patio screen door is dry and clean on both sides;
• Completely close the door to make sure you stick the Velcro® not completely on the edge;
• Stick the male/spiky Velcro® on the back side of the plates and the female/soft Velcro® ON THE DOOR FRAME;
• Make sur the round corner of the Smar Slider™ lies above the screen;
• Leave the plates in place at least 1 hour to allow the Velcro® to stick well.

Temporary removal

• Carefully tear off the plates with both hands.

Cleaning

• Carefully tear off the plates with both hands;
• Wash the plates with warm soapy water and a piece of cloth;
• For tough stains, use a degreaser like WD-40.

Permanent removal

• Carefully tear off the plates with both hands.
• Carefully remove the Velcro® from the frame with both hands;
• To remove remaining glue from the frame, use a degreaser like WD-40.

FAQ

• Question: On which sides do I put the plates?
• Answer: All corners must touch the door frame, except the rounded one..

• Question: What do I do if I want to open the door completely?
• Answer: Take off the plate that blocks it. It’s usually the one inside.

• Question: My screen door doesn’t close completely now. What do I do?
• Answer: Re-stick the Velcro® a bit away from the edge of the frame.

• Question: I have an embossed door frame which prevents the Velcro® to lay flat. What should I do?
• Answer: Use insulation tape for windows. See video. (Cat not included.)

• Question: How can I prevent people from steeling my plates?
• Answer: Remove them and put them inside. Don’t forget to lock the door!

• Question: How can I prevent my pet from usin the Smart Slider™?
• Answer: Once it knows how to use it, it’s too late. Send us a link to your video!

• Question: At what stores can I buy it?
• Answer: None for now.

• Question: Do you have other colours?
• Answer: Not for now. Use PVC paint like Krylon.

• Question: Is this device recyclable?
• Answer: The plates, Yes. The Velcro®, no.

• Question: How can I return it?
• Answer: Mail it back to us. We will refund you what you have paid.

• Space: The plates were designed to prevent a full door opening. If need be, tear off the plate that blocks the opening.
• Theft: Tear off the plates and put them inside. We are not responsible for stolen plates.

• Health: Do not use the Smart Slider™ if you have balance challenges. Do not try to use the Smart Slider™ with a cane, a crutch, a walker or any other devices.
• Responsibility: We are not responsible for breakage, accidents or injuries caused by the use of a Smart Slider™. You must install it on both sides to protect your screen. Make sure the Smart Slider™ does not significantly touch your screen when you’re using it.
