Instructions

Normal installation

• Make sure the corner of your patio screen door is dry and clean on both sides
• Completely close the door to make sure you stick the Velcro® not completely on the edge
• Stick the male/spiky Velcro® on the back side of the plates and the female/soft Velcro® ON THE DOOR FRAME
• Make sur the round corner of the Smar Slider™ lies above the screen
• Leave the plates in place at least 1 hour to allow the Velcro® to stick well

Installation on an embossed frame

• Use insulation tape for windows

Installation on a frame with a side lamella

• Cut 2 Velcro® in half
• Stick the spiky part on the outer side of the plate’s vertical part
• Stick the soft part on the inner side of the frame’s lamella

Installation on a tighly fitting frame

• Replace the Velcro® by mounting tape (sticky on both sides)
• Know that you will no longer be able to remove and put back the plates as easily

How to temporarily uninstall the Smart Slider™

• Carefully tear off the plates with both hands

How to clean the Smart Slider™

• Carefully tear off the plates with both hands
• Wash the plates with warm soapy water and a piece of cloth
• For tough stains, use a degreaser like WD-40

How to permanently uninstall the Smart Slider™

• Carefully tear off the plates with both hands
• Carefully remove the Velcro® from the frame with both hands
• To remove remaining glue from the frame, use a degreaser like WD-40
